  34. If you want to play more than one patch from one midi channel try gusorgan.
  35. The program  included in gusorg.exe that I uploaded to epas will play up to 
  36. 16 patches from any midi channel.  It receives midi data over the midi adapter
  37. and plays patches that you have selected.  It also has a demo command that
  38. will play a Bach song using the patches that you have selected.

  40. All midi channels are mapped to one internal channel and that one channel controls the patches.  You can turn patches on and of from the computer keyboard.

  52. out earlier today.

  55. your message if you sent one in yesterday.

  59.     I've now put in measures to insure that will make it MUCH less
  60. likely that we'll lose messages, even if the digest barfs like it did
  61. last night.  Of course, I've put the code in a little late... :-/

  76. I have checked out several books from our library, and have been examining
  77. various midi files, and soon hope to have a decent description of the midi
  78. file format. It is a strange beast! 
  79. If anyone has any good docs that they could mail me, I would greatly
  80. appreciate it. 
  81. When finished, I will either post it to the digest or upload it to epas,
  82. depending on how long it is.

  103.     I'm writing this to the person who uploaded MIDPAC.ZIP on epas.  I
  104. tried to play the midi files, but I always get this error message:

  106. Error: Expecting MTrk, corrupt midi file?
  107.  
  108.     Are the midi files in a format unreadable by PLAYMIDI?  Should I
  109. use a conversion program?

  170. The demo is fine until the story is over and the load game/save game/
  171. end game is displayed.

  173. This screen is SOOOOO dim I have to turn the brightness and contrast up
  174. ALL THE WAY to even read the thing.

  176. Then when the game starts when it displays the ship in orbit around the
  177. solar system the display is still SOOOOOO dim I can't even  see what is
  178. going on.
